Kevin Puzey writes, "This is the 5x5 Roosevelt bull elk that I took in Western Washington on September 9, 2005 with a Damon Howatt 53# recurve bow and 125 grain snuffer broadhead at 25 yards. The bull was large bodied, typical of the coastal Roosevelts, and the 5 mile pack out made the hunt even more memorable. The photo clearly shows the heavy cover and classic moss covered vine maple that these big bulls call home.
Since I was hunting alone, the picture was taken using a portable tri-pod and self timer on my digital camera."
