Fernando writes, "I am sending a photo of my Buck from an early archery hunt on Public Land in California taken on August 19,2007. It was a team effort to get this Buck. I was fortunate enough to be with my brother, Gill and his 2 boys, Anthony(10) and Timothy(8). After 4 hours of sweeping the slopes and following sign we located the buck bedded down under a scrub oak. It was a very difficult approach due to the direction the buck was bedded and terrain. We were able to close the gap to 61 yards were I was able to place the shot. The buck turned out to be a very nice 3x3 with 2" eyegaurds. This is another great hunt on Public Land with my brother and his boys. I hope this is a sign of what is to come for the rest of the 2007 season. I would also like to Thank Mario and Hugo for trecking all the way out to where it fell to help us pack it out."
