"One-In-A-Million Buck"
Photo provided by: Kraig Painter

Kraig Painter writes, "This is a photo of a cactus buck that my father, John Painter, killed near Fayette, Utah in 1972. This deer made the TV news and the newspaper, not only for its odd antlers, but because of its abnormally large size and the fact that it was a hermaphrodite (both male and female organs).
This deer's antlers had over 200 seperate points that were of an inch or longer. These were counted and marked with a felt tip marker to ensure no repeat counts! Unfortunatley, the head was stolen a few days after the deer was aired on the news. If anybody has knowledge of the whereabouts of these antlers, please contact me at [email protected]."

What a unique buck!!!
