Joel Gardiner writes, "For as long as I can remember our family has been hunting the same area of southeastern Utah. When I was a kid these hunts were the only time all of our family would get together. It was a special time of the year that my older brother Wade and I would long for. As the times changed and hunting in large parties became more difficult my brother and I soon found that we were the only ones left who were excited about hunting. As the years passed by we found ourselves heading back to the same canyon we had hunted with our Dad and uncles when we were kids. The memories were always there as we sat on the ridge and recalled the stories of who shot which buck and where."
