Dan Wood writes, "I wanted to share these pics from our 2007 hunt. We are in the central mountains of Idaho in a general hunt unit that has bull and buck season overlapping. My son, Chris, had shot at a large bull the previous evening and it got dark before he could truly see if he had hit it or not. We decided we had better get up early the next day and walk back in and check it out in daylight. This 6x8 showed himself for just a little too long and my .264 Win Mag took him right behind his right ear.

Unfortunately for Chris, we found no evidence that he had drawn blood on the bull of the night before. But, he did OK with this 5x4 muley that he took with the .270 Model 70. My adopted son, Cody Tate, took the 3x3 in the pic next to Chris."
