Alan Nelson wanted to share this photo of a couple trophy Blacktails that were taken in the Melrose unit of western Oregon. The buck on the left was shot by Alan's grandfather, C.D. Graham, in 1961. Alan harvested the other buck in 1985, not a half-mile from where his grandfather took his 24 years earlier.

Hopefully there'll be another one there when Alan's son goes hunting.
