Curt Tenorio, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, sent us this photo of his first archery buck he took a couple years ago. After an unsuccessful early September hunt, Curt returned in January hoping for better luck. Curt missed the buck twice the first day he saw him. Curt writes, "It was hard to keep from shaking. Talk about buck-fever, I could hardly draw my bow."
The next day, Curt and his son, Zachary, found the buck again and were able to get within 20 yards. Just before Curt let an arrow fly, Zachary whispered to his dad, "Don't miss." Talk pressure! But, Curt's arrow found its mark and what a trophy the buck is.
