Vaughn Ramsey was born and raised in the "Big Sky" state. He had the opportunity to hunt the bucks in the 60's and 70's, even harvesting a 218 B&C hog. However, it has been many years since he has seen any real monster bucks, until this year!
While on a boating trip, Vaughn and his wife photographed this big buck.
Vaughn writes, "I saw a nice 25" muley laying in the shade at the tree line of the reservoir. I throttled back, turned toward him and grabbed my camera.
Then I saw two more to the right of this one. The one laying in back was a monster. They laid there and let me take pictures until I was almost to the bank. Then they all got up and walked along the shore, posing several times, and into the timber."

This buck really is a monster. He has deep forks, great mass, and even some extras.
Montana still has a few good ones around!
