Here's a couple photo's sent in by Doug Stephens. Doug's wife, Jeanne, shot the buck on the left in 1998. She harvested this dandy Blacktail with a Winchester model 70, 300 Mag. at 200-yards. She had a great year of hunting, this was the second of two bucks she took in 1998.
On the right, is Doug with his 1999 California buck. The Winchester did the job again, this time it was an 80-yard shot. Doug writes, "The back tines are almost 17 inches long, a huge 2 x 2, not bad for a California Blacktail".
