Greg writes, "After spotting a great buck in the morning, and watching him through the spotting scope bedded down at noon. I set up a blind and waited him out on the river breaks. Sure enough, that evening he walked out following 9 does and I made the easy 80 yard shot. Jumping up in exhilaration, I immediatly spotted an identical giant buck standing 35 yards further down the slope. In disbelief, I realized I'd shot the wrong buck as the one I shot was not as wide and high as the buck I was originally watching. I simply did not know there were 2 huge bucks (very likely with same genes) with identical racks, and the one being significantly larger".

It may not have been the buck Greg planned on shooting, but it's still a great trophy.
