Brian and his father spent many days scouting their spot in Colorado in 2001. They saw several bucks that they felt were close, or better than, 30 inches. However, once their November hunt rolled around, those monster bucks couldn't be found.
During the first six days of the hunt, they only saw one 2-point buck. Then finally, they found a taker. With one shot from his Remington 700 .270, Brian brought this buck down.
The buck is a 24-5/8 inch 5x5 with 3 1/2 inch browtines and 5-inch bases. The buck also scores approx. 183 B&C.
