"Rod's Alberta Trophy Buck"
Photo provided by: Rod Sinclair

Here's a big buck that Rod Sinclair harvested during the first week in November in 1985.
Rod writes, "My brother-in-law and I rode up into Yarrow Canyon here in southwestern Alberta. We rode up on the buck as he was on the move looking for doe's. I bailed off my horse and got a shot off before he disappeared into some scrub pine. He went down right away, but by the time we tied off the horses and went to have a look, he had managed to push himself towards the creek and fell over a 40 foot cliff into a deep pool of water. It took me a while to find him because he was totally submerged, except for the tip of one antler".
The 4x5 buck is 27 inches wide and scores over 170.
