Greg Busch, Steve Ohly and Terry Vetter had a great hunt in North Dakota this past fall.
Greg writes, "Terry Vetter connected with the 5x5, pictured in front of my outfitter tent, on Nov. 8, opening day (top photo). There were a group of three bucks running together past Terry at 200 yards with one true jumbo in the lead. Terry unfortunately missed the big one and connected with the deer in the picture. Still a nice "consolation" buck!
My father-in-law, Steve Ohly, shot his 4x5 in the picture with all of the brush (second photo). We watched his buck chase two does for 30 minutes right after sunrise, before it bedded down. He and I snuck up on it and he shot it in its bed at 100 yards.
I shot my deer (bottom 2 photos) after five days of hard hunting in the Badlands of ND with one shot from my 7mm on the run at 150 yards. I passed up many nice deer, including two that were bigger than the one I shot. Sometimes that's the way it goes! We did end up packing out my
deer about 2 miles. It's a real treat to hunt beautiful country with family and friends and go three for three on nice deer."
