2001 was a good year for Matt Peterson and his wife. After drawing a limited entry tags in Utah, they took a couple fine bucks.

Matt writes, "We both put in for Utah's premium limited entry buck mule deer hunt and were lucky enough to finally draw a tag. I was part of the dedicated hunter program, so I had the option to hunt all three hunts.
I hunted my buck for two solid weeks before he finally slipped up on the last day of the archery hunt.
On opening day of the rifle hunt, I took my wife to the same area and she made a beautiful shot and bagged her buck in the same canyon that I had harvested mine. There is nothing better than sharing hunting experiences with your family. The memories of our hunt will last a lifetime."
