Chad Tuft writes, "My dad (Dean Tuft) and I (Chad Tuft) had seen these bucks while hunting for Elk in a spike only area. Naturally, we made this area in Southeastern Utah our choice for the opening morning of the 2003 deer hunt. Shortly after day break, my dad & I, along with our guide (Don Tuft) made our way through the thick oak brush in hopes of seeing these bucks again.
After a rather strenous 30 minute hike, my guide spotted the bucks feeding along an edge of a clearing. I took the first shot at 100 yards and down he went. Less than a minute later, my dad also made a good shot and we ended up with these two bucks. My buck is the 29 inch three point & Dads is the 23 inch four point. What an awesome day! Can't get much better than scoring a couple of great bucks with my Dad and uncle/guide.
