Paul Freeland, aka boomer writes, "This is the mule deer that I took this year in Western Wyoming. He is 27" wide and has nice long points. I saw he and his buddy, (about a 25" 5x5) on opening morning, but at the time I still had dreams of a 30" and chose to pass. Two weeks later I spotted the same two bucks within a couple hundred yards of where I had seen them on the opener. I decided to take him at 182 yards. He immediately rolled down the hill and I was very lucky he caught in a tree or he still may be rolling. I am very excited and can't wait to give the same area a try again next year."
