Steve Bergquist writes, "I shot this buck on the 4th day of Colorado's 3rd season. As you can tell, we got about 6 inches of new snow. I was hunting in the northwest part of the state in area 10. The buck scores 187 1/8 B&C gross and was shot at 10:30 in the morning crossing a large sagebrush flat. I was able to get to about 180 yards of him and he took 3 shots from my 300 Win. to finally put him down. He's my best buck so far, but he really gave me the fever to hunt the big ones."
