He decided to go try to hunt a smaller 4x3 he had seen that morning down in some fields, hoping it was still hanging around. Low and behold, he crossed this transcendent buck's path on the way down with a heard of does. One shot did the mustard. The buck pushes over 26 inches wide with great forks and should green score at around 179
