In November 2003, in Island County Washington, I saw one of the "wildest" sights ever. Two big Blacktail battling it out right in front of my squad car in the middle of the road. The battle raged for several minutes. I scrambled for my camera just as the larger five point pinned the four point buck to the ground. The loud clashing and the sheer sound of the two mammoth Blacktail in battle will remain one of the most exciting moments I have ever had on duty!"
