When Matt Murray learned that he and his father-in-law, Ted Leigh, had drawn Nevada muzzleloader tags, he was very excited. It was to be Ted's first hunt, and after plenty of practice with the .50 cal. Hawken, they were ready to go.
Matt spotted this buck bedded, and Ted spent three hours stalking him. Ted was able to get within 20 yards, where the 400 gr. "Parker Hydracon" bullet did its job.
