While hunting southern Utah this past September, Reed Lowe was able to anchor this big bull with his smokepole.
Reed writes, "The rut ran late this year, but it was to my advantage because I don’t think it really got going until the last week of September. The picture is of me and my son, Jed. After I took my bull I called him on my cell phone from the highest peak around and he called a few friends and within 4 hours they arrived with 3 pack horses which were a welcome sight."
