Ken Broadhead writes, "14 points and 15 years of waiting payed off this year! I drew for the DL&L (Deseret Land & Livestock CWMU in Utah) Bull Moose tag. After the first day hunting we found this bull. I did not know how to judge him and only saw the left antler through the trees and at dark. We came back to the water hole on 09/08/2009 in the evening and he came into the water hole with a cow at about 8:00pm. It only took a minute to decide he was the one. Ranged him at 274 yards. One shot with a .375 Ruger and a 270 Grn. Barnes X brought him down in the pond he stood in. Unofficial, green gross score was 170 & 4/8 inches."
