Calvin Birdinground writes, "It was a cool morning and my dad asked me to get some meat for the house. So, I and a relative went behind the house to hunt. We got there before sun up and glassed a bit...nothing...so we decided to check another spot. After closing the gate, we started to drive down into the breaks. There stood a deer. I seen it, not knowing if it was a buck or doe. I put the glass on it and found out it was in fact a buck. Ranged him at 87 yards. I got out the STW and looked through the 3x9 Leupold and could see horns. Cory, my hunting partner, put the camera on him as I got ready for a shot. You on him I asked? Yep! was all I herd. With the crosshairs on his neck...kaboom! He dropped where he stood. After making sure he wasn't going anywhere we drove down to him. The rack and body kept getting bigger and bigger. We stopped and he was magnificent. Not bad for a meat hunt behind my dads on the Crow Indian Reservation in Montana! Not bad at all!"
