Dave Madsen writes, "My 12 year old son, Michael, shot this buck on a 2010 Utah general rifle hunt on public land. He shot it on the second weekend when only 18 and under youth could be hunting. We spotted the buck in the morning and made our way to where he was by evening. We were amazed that we were lucky enough to have him feed out. Mike was a lot more composed than I would have been when he jumped up and stopped at about 200 yards. He put him down with two great shots from his .243. We roughed scored the buck at a bit over 190. He is 28" wide, and very symmetrical with great mass."
