Paul Cook writes, "So here is my Colorado 2nd rifle season buck. 2nd year hunting this area and I had no idea what I shot until I walked up on him. I shot this buck on the 28th of October after 6 days of hard hunting. I knew he was a amazing buck, but did not realize how big and massive until I took it to my good friend and taxidermist, Curtis Wilson of Monarch Mountain Taxidermy. This deer was 8 years old, down scored at 190-5/8, 44 inches of mass and bases that go over 7 inches. This buck is 26 inches wide and 23 inches tall. It has been the heaviest buck I have ever laid hands on and most others who see it in person agree. I am truly the most lucky and blessed hunter out there."
