Jim Lefler writes, "After 13 years of applying, my brother (Jeff) and I were lucky enough to have drawn late tags in Nevada. This buck was taken on our 5th day of hunting. He made the mistake of letting the "urge" to get to know a lovely cloud his judgement. One shot at about 175 yards and my brother was happy to punch his tag.

My ram hunt was truly a "once in a lifetime" experiance. I spent most of my summer either researching my unit, talking sheep to anyone who would listen to me, and putting my boots to the ground on 12 days of scouting. On my 9th day of packing a rifle I was very happy to fill my tag with this awesome Utah Desert Ram. He "unoffically" scores 153-2/8 and was aged at 9-1/2"
