Matthew Brimhall writes, "March 2012 a buddy and I found a huge broken G2 while out hiking. We wondered how the heck something with so much mass could bust off on the winter range. A few hours later I stumbled over the base and it all came together. This anter was shot! You can clearly see the bullet hole through the base busting off the G2. Picking up both pieces was pretty amazing in this high traffic area. I think someone tried to poach this buck and missed their mark."
