Richard Vialpando writes, "My son, Derek, and I just started a draw turkey hunt, and so far, no bird....yet. We’ve got one more week to go get him. Anyways, during the hunt this past weekend Derek found a couple of elk sets. One of them was just meant to be his. For the past month and a half, him and I along with my other shed hunter, Marisa, have been out, but haven’t had much luck. Lots of smaller chewed up stuff, but this one was definitely the find that calls for bragging rights. Right before the find, I quote my boy “Throughout all this time, we’ve been finding nothing but old stuff huh, God has a plan for me...Just wait and see”!...he sure did (by the way, he had found the older set 4 ½ hrs right before...wow!). Marisa and I will just have to keep on trekking in hopes for our monster. Whether I find or not, it’s just awesome being out there with them and seeing how excited they get."
