Glen Ekker writes, "Here is a deer we were lucky enough to harvest during the 2013 general Utah deer hunt on public property. After a five hour horse ride and hour hike my dad and I spotted this buck way above the roar of four wheelers and pickups. I shot this buck at 662 yards with my weatherby 30-378, but missed the vitals. He got up when we got close and I had to shoot him again in the head with a 270. This buck is right at 31-1/2 inches wide and 20 inches tall."
