Todd Griffith writes, "I filmed this buck and a handful of other bucks the day before the 2014 archery opener here in Utah. I located this buck and five other bucks feeding a top of a ridge line at first light and it was game on. After about a 25 to 30 minute stalk I was in position at 34 yards. After an intense stare down with this buck he finally put his head down and it allowed me to come to full draw. After catching movement this buck picked up his head and took two step towards me to figure out what I was and that's when the shot broke clean and I watched my arrow disappear in the deer. The buck only made it about 35 yards and piled up. This is my first opening morning harvest. It was a great opportunity to test some spot and stalk skills that I learned this summer. Great start to the year."
