Rex Rosenbaum writes, "This buck was scouted by Norm Johnson and myself three days before the season started. Norm could not go with me opening morning so my buddy, Chris Tiel, and I were out on the desert opening morning looking for this buck. We saw a young buck that was curious and came running towards us. We watched him for several minutes and he finally ran off. We were heading out of the area when we saw this nice buck laying down at 265 yards. We studied him for 15 minutes and decided this was the buck I had seen three days earlier. The buck finally got up and walked about 10 yards closer to us and layed down again. He got up within two minutes and started to walk away. At that point it was now or never. The buck dropped with one shot from the ole 270. The Lord blessed us with a great buck that scores 79 B&C."
