James Hollis writes, "I was able to connect on this buck on a general late season archery hunt in Idaho. He measures of 33" wide with 5" bases. He is a little busted off on his right side.

I found this buck 4 days ago and spooked some does that he ended up following. I went back 3 days later and waited. The first does that came by spotted us and turned around. Then a small 4x4 came by and also spotted us. I decided to move location and have a little better hide and be able to draw my bow. He came over the hill chasing 5 does, went into the small dip and I drew back. He came out and I was so focused on my pin and making the shot that I didn't even notice how big he really was. When I got down to him I was surprised at his size! Two mile pack out was brutal, but well worth it."
