Shay writes, "The first deer was on the first week of zone x7b, a tag that I have been putting in for 8 years, about a mile away from the California/Nevada border. Both are public land California deer, shot with a 7mm-08, the big 3x3 was 28 inches wide and weighed close to 250lbs. Sorry I didn't get a picture of myself with the second deer I was hunting by myself.
The second deer was on the opening hour of general season in zone D4, just an 18 inch 3x2 (they sell 33,000 buck tags for that zone)."
