Nathan Barth writes, "Here are a few pictures of my bear I shot here in CO on Labor Day. Not a monster bear, but he had a beautiful cinnamon red coat. I have had success at this water hole in the past, this is my 3rd bear in this spot. The acorn crop was good this year, so the bears were around. It was just a matter of time until I had a few good hot days in a row to draw the bears in. I put a trail camera up in July and had decent bear activity. I sat this water hole all day Friday and Saturday in the rain, took Sunday off to help the wife around the house and hang out with our newborn son, then hunted Monday. Shot him at 11:00. Not sure if I'm more excited about the beautiful rug to come, or the delicious meat; which is why I included a picture of the quarters cooling in the shade."
