It's always fun to hear about someone's first successful hunt, and this one is no different. She's a happy gal.

Bridgette Grangroth writes, "My first archery elk. An early September elk hunt that I'll never forget. We were talking with several different bulls all day, but never bumped into any of them. We stumbled into this guys bedroom in the late afternoon. He came in pretty worked up, stopped for me at 15 yards and was broadside. I set all pins my on his vitals, he fell about 50 yards yards from where he was last standing."
