"Antelope Success - I was fortunate enough to draw an antelope tag (second one in 20 years) on a ranch south of mountainair. It was an amazing hunt, because my wife, kids and dad were all there to see everything. We were chasing another one when some cattle spoked him and he ran off into another county.
So we decided to go check out another area and as we got there we found this guy and four does running right towards us. We got out the truck and had to make a run for a hill next to us. And when we got to where I could see them they stopped a little over 200 yards away from us. One lung shot and he was done!
He's not a record breaker but I'm very happy with him. Those hunts are a blast. I have a deer hunt in November also so hopefully I'll have more to post then. Good luck to all!"
