This brute was taken by Kerry Shepherd in Wyoming in 2003. Kerry writes, "I jumped this big brute out of his bed while still hunting, after riding horseback into the wilderness near the Little Greys River. I shot the deer at 30 paces with my Remington Model 700 in 300 Win Mag, using 180 grain Federal Safari Grade ammunition."
