In the summer of 2005, Jeff Hansen's good friend, Jade, was involved in an automobile accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down.
By hunting season Jade was back at it shooting his bow and going on hunts.
Jade harvested his buck early in the hunt (lower photo), then accompanied Jeff on his hunt. As the two were glassing early one morning, Jade spotted this fine buck step from the timber (upper photo). Jeff quickly fired a shot and the rest is history.
