Harold A. Franklin writes, "This buck was killed by my dad, Harald J. Franklin, in 1940 in Modoc County, California, at four mile on the state line of Oregon. This buck gross scores 200 and some change. It is 35 inches wide and is 7x7. Dad and his group killed 2 35-inch bucks on this trip!"
