While hunting in northwest Colorado in 2009, Jay Spitzer managed to take this fine buck.

Jay writes, "I was able to draw the tag after 10 years of waiting. On the third day of the hunt, my 14 year old son and I spotted this nice muley bedded next to a pine tree. We eased into place for a clean shot. One shot from my .270 Weatherby Magnum hand-loaded with 140 grain Barnes Triple Shock bullets prevented the fine buck from even getting to his feet! The 6-1/2 year old dandy green-scored 180-7/8! The best part of the hunt was that I was able to share it with my 14 year old son Jonas."
