Curtis Richards harvested this fine, 24-inch 5x5 buck on his grandma's farm in N.W. Kansas. Curtis and his father stalked to within 30 yards on opening morning after spotting the buck from about 3/4 of a mile away. One shot from the 30.06 was all it took.
