Casey and Kerry Evans headed for western Kansas again this year, and the hunt was as good as ever. Casey travels from North Carolina to Texas, where he picks up Kerry, then on to Kansas where they hunt the ranch owned by their brother Scott. They've taken good bucks over the past couple years, and this year was no different.

Casey writes, "Considering that western Kansas was very dry, the mule deer population seems to be pretty good. We took both deer on the same day. Both bucks had 23" spreads and mine was a 7x6 and Kerry's was a 5x5.
