Kenneth Lanzel writes, "It was tough being patient with all the ribbing I was recieving from my partner's, Rob and Dave; since they had filled tags with 2 nice bucks (below) on the second day of the hunt and 2 bull elk (also below) on the 3rd day of our 4 day hunt. I continued to fend them off with, "I came to Colorado with a purpose, to shoot a 28" deer." My patience paid off on this nice buck. I had passed on several 26-27" wide bucks before taking this almost 29" on the last morning of my trip to Eagle, Colorado. The deer should gross around 190". In the end my patience/deer won out and I have this great field picture as a fond memory of a great hunt with good friends."
