Steve Speer, aka LowCountryElk, writes, "Here's a picture of a nice buck I shot with a rifle in southwest Colorado on a hunt with Doug Peterson, Ray Carter, and Tony and Terra Pennington this past November, 2009. The moon was full and out all night and the weather was quite mild, making hunting a bit difficult, but Ray and I caught this big boy heading into the woods with a girlfriend at first light on the third day after spotting and patterning him the previous day. The rest is history. 31-1/2 wide, 186-1/2 gross score green. We all got really nice bucks and it was a great hunt with really fun friends! Were attributing our success to the fact that BobcatBess showed up to help out and be our lucky charm."
