Ruby waited 9 years to draw a bull elk tag in Arizona. Once drawn, she spent nearly every weekend for two months scouting with both her husband and by herself. This 6x6 was taken in unit 5B at 8:00am on opening morning. Ruby's husband Dave writes, "After the bull was down and she had put her tag on him. I told her, "the work is just beginning". She told me to get busy, and then she took off for the truck, which was about a mile away. She returned with our truck and told me that she had done her part and the rest was up to me. We both had a good laugh.
