Bob Beeman, aka Elkaddict here at MonsterMuleys.com, sent these photos of the big bull he took in New Mexico. After plenty of opening morning walking and calling, Bob found a spot a couple ridges from camp near a meadow to take a nap. Every few minutes he would lift his head to check for game. Suddenly, there stood the big bull. Bob doesn't even remember picking up his rifle, but he did and the trophy is headed for the wall.
Bob writes, "Golden leaves of fall, bugling elk, a great friend, and a little luck makes for a memory of a lifetime."
