Traig Jones sent this photo of the elk his brother, Travis, harvested this year.
Traig writes, "The elk pictures are of my brother Travis and the 5x6 bull that he arrowed during the archery season. He and a friend were headed up a canyon, when they heard a bull bugle. They bugled back and got an immediate response. So they turned back, and got set up. My brother was the caller, and started to cow talk with an occasional bugle. They hadn't been set up for more than five minutes when a different bull came over the ridge, and was hot in their direction.
My brother continued to cow talk, and this bull ran right past his friend at 35 yards, and straight to his cow calls. He stopped at 25 yards for my brother, and he put an arrow out of his Blackwidow Recurve, through both lungs. It's my brothers first bull."
