Jean Mazac writes, "I finally got my first elk tag after trying for 4 years. My husband, Tim, and my brother, Rod, went with me on a high desert hunt in Eastern Oregon. My brother spotted the bull on the second day of my hunt. I was able to get within 195 yards of him and made a good shot with my husband's 300 Weatherby. (Ouch!!) It was a great day and I never expected to be able to get such a nice bull."
