Jeff, aka Deerking on our message board, sent us these photos of some of the great bulls that he and his brother, Robert, have taken on public land in Colorado over the past few years. The bull in the top 2 photos was taken by Jeff with his muzzleloader. The bull has 2 droptines on his left antler and scores 361 B&C. Jeff writes, "I had been watching this bull for a couple weeks and opening morning I had him and 8 others to choose from. A lot of big bulls, but he was the one"!
Colorado, and several other states still have some great open unit hunting, both for deer and elk. It just takes a little more work!
