Here's an incredible New Mexico bull that was taken by Ray Hammond in 1999 with a recurve bow. The bull gross scores 359 5/8 and has 11-inch bases. They estimated him as being 8-10 years old. Ray writes, "At one point, the bull was 5 feet away!"
This was Ray's first elk hunt and now he's hooked. He now donates some of his time as a committee member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in Atlanta, Georgia.
